Physician Services Market Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Physician Services Market Director to oversee the strategic and operational management of physician practices within our healthcare system. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, enhance physician engagement, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple physician practices within the assigned market, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize physician practice operations, patient care quality, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare leadership to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including patient volume, financial metrics, and provider productivity, to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, as well as accreditation and payer requirements.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and maintain top physician talent.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial planning, and revenue cycle processes to enhance profitability and sustainability.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting physician engagement and team development.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve patient access, satisfaction, and care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in physician practice management or healthcare operations.
• Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for physician practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data, develop strategic initiatives, and drive performance improvements.
