Engineer IV

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer IV to join our team. This senior-level engineering position is responsible for leading complex projects, providing expert technical guidance, and contributing to the strategic direction of engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive innovation and process improvements within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex engineering projects.

• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

• Conduct advanced analysis and evaluation of systems, processes, and technologies to recommend improvements and ensure project success.

• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and leadership to align technical solutions with business objectives.

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.

• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software, etc., depending on industry focus).

• 8+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated progression in technical responsibilities.

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary projects and teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in engineering software/tools relevant to the discipline (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python, etc.).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in project management or Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, codes, and compliance standards.

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) is a plus.
