Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to support our procurement team in managing orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in sourcing new vendors and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of potential shortages.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and vendor concerns.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Business or Supply Chain is a plus).
  • 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
