Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff performance, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to mentor and support a team of dedicated nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units.
  • Supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and improve patient care outcomes through quality assurance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and hospital leadership to enhance patient care strategies.
  • Develop and implement policies to improve workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage unit budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Address patient and family concerns, ensuring compassionate and effective resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Licensure: Current RN license in North Carolina.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in an ICU, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required; CCRN or related specialty certification preferred.
