Job Title: Tax Supervisor - Private Client Practice
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid), Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or Boca Raton, FL

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tax Supervisor to join our Private Client Practice team. This role focuses on providing tax services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, private foundations, estates, and family investment partnerships. You will manage client relationships, oversee tax compliance, and provide strategic tax planning to enhance financial outcomes for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary advisor to high-net-worth clients and family offices, fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, including individual, family investment partnership, trust, gift, and estate tax filings.
  • Provide personalized tax planning and advisory services aligned with clients' financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Analyze clients' financial situations to identify tax-saving opportunities and reduce liabilities.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior management to create and deliver training programs for staff.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws, assessing their implications for clients and offering tailored advice.
  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and present innovative solutions to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

COMPENSATION:

  • Base Salary: $115,000 to $142,000 (Full-time)
