RN - Emergency Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Services to join our dynamic emergency department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and stabilize patients experiencing medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid and accurate patient assessments to determine the severity of illness or injury.
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, paramedics, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and IV pumps.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-emergency care instructions.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care, medications, and procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous training, emergency preparedness drills, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Active RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (or must be obtained within a specified timeframe). TNCC or CEN certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical skills may be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
