OutSystems Developer - Columbia, South carolina

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to lead application development using the OutSystems low-code platform. The ideal candidate has at least 7–8 years of hands-on experience, holds a Professional or Expert OutSystems certification, and is proficient in both front-end and back-end development. The role involves designing custom solutions, integrating third-party APIs, and mentoring offshore teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This is a great opportunity for a developer with strong Reactive Web Development experience, proficiency in .NET and SQL, and the ability to lead OutSystems development from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy scalable applications using the OutSystems platform
• Create UI screens for desktop and mobile using Reactive Web Development
• Design data models, workflows, and custom objects within OutSystems
• Manage and integrate third-party systems via APIs
• Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
• Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with and mentor offshore development teams
• Ensure best practices in low-code development, code reusability, and performance optimization

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of OutSystems development experience
• OutSystems certification – Professional or Expert level
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems best practices, architecture, and security
• UI development experience for both desktop and mobile using Reactive Web Apps
• Solid experience with .NET and SQL
• Proven ability to design, document, and deliver scalable solutions
• Experience with database management and data integrity assurance
• Working knowledge of API integration and custom object management
• Experience in production support environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performance tuning and OutSystems DevOps
• Agile development experience
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)
