ABOUT THE POSITION:
Our client, a leading technology solutions and consulting firm serving the alternative investment management industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Fintech Sales Executive with a hunter mentality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software/solutions sales within the financial technology (fintech) sector, selling to hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices, and other asset managers.

This role focuses on driving new business by promoting the firm’s enterprise and cloud-based fintech software, along with its consulting and operational managed services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, meetings, conferences, and email campaigns, building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Understand and address the needs of growing hedge funds and asset managers.
  • Effectively communicate the firm’s product suite and value proposition.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly lead generation quotas and annual revenue targets.
  • Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, and drive interest in the firm’s solutions.
  • Maintain and expand a comprehensive database of prospects.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s product and industry experts to advance sales efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive technologies, and solutions.
  • Identify potential new product and service opportunities for the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of software/solutions sales experience in the financial technology (fintech) sector.
  • Proven track record in achieving quotas with a hunter mentality focused on prospecting and pipeline building.
  • Experience selling one or more of the following:
    • Analytics, Back Office Solutions, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Warehouse, EOD Reporting, Front Office Solutions, Managed Services, Middle Office Solutions, OMS, PMS, Reconciliation, Regulatory Solutions, Reporting, Trade Management, and Treasury.
  • SAAS sales experience with complex fintech solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong enterprise sales experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, including client-facing demos and presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services/asset management workflows, particularly within hedge funds, private equity, and family offices.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives and their teams.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a results-driven attitude.

COMPENSATION:

  • Base Salary: $130,000 to $150,000
  • OTE: $300,000 (uncapped)
  • Benefits: Full benefits package included.
