About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Quality & Risk to lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and risk management strategies within our organization. This senior-level role involves fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards of care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality and risk management programs that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to monitor and improve quality metrics and patient outcomes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish protocols to minimize organizational exposure.
  • Oversee investigations and responses to adverse events, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives, utilizing data to identify trends and drive evidence-based solutions.
  • Educate staff on quality and risk management policies, ensuring organization-wide engagement.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality and risk management activities to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management and risk management roles within a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) and risk management methodologies.
  • Certification in quality or risk management (e.g., CPHQ, CPPS) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
